I learned something pretty cool this holiday season. For Christmas, I decided to share some of the photographs that I have taken throughout the year. I mounted and framed prints for my parents, my brother and his wife and my mother-in-law. When Bethany and I delivered them to people, they all had the same reaction. "Oh, thanks for the frames. Where did you buy the pictures?" My mother-in-law argued that they looked professionally done. My father asked the same question. My response was, "they are all mine." I've taken these shots in the last year and felt the need to share with you." It's nice to have your work appreciated. I've posted samples for your viewing pleasure.

So here goes...

Hello. If you are reading this, you have found the blog of Cedrico Crocker, that's me, and Changing Seasons Photography. I'd like to take this first attempt at blogging to introduce you to me and give you some insight as to why I created Changing Seasons. For me, photography has always been a way to express myself and to capture the moment at hand. It wasn't until my marriage to my wonderful wife Bethany that I started capturing the significant moments in our lives. It started with capturing every waking moment of our honeymoon along the Gulf Coast of the southern United States in 1993. After taking tons of snapshots during that week, I realized that taking several pictures of things are nice, but a single portrait can tell a story with one photograph.
